1:15 PM | Swamp Tour | Pickup location is 422 Canal St. New Orleans, LA
We’re excited for the group that is joining us to see some gators! Cajun Encounters will be providing transportation to and from 422 Canal St. (walking distance from the Hilton New Orleans), picking up at 1:15 pm for a 2:45 pm tour. The boat ride lasts about two hours (please note that there is no restroom on the boat, but available in the gift shop before and after). Please dress comfortably in clothing that you don’t mind getting wet, just in case!

If you have time before your flight, come join Anja and Michael for a casual breakfast at their hotel. Menu can be viewed here. One final hurrah before you depart! Just let us know when you would like to meet.

It’s wedding day! Anja will be getting ready at Hotel Tonnelle beginning at 10:00 am. Michael will be getting ready at the Hilton New Orleans (on St. Charles Ave) beginning at 11:00 am. They will both depart for private pre-wedding photos at about 2:00 pm. We hope you’ll come spend time with us!
BEFORE THE CEREMONY

Please arrive by 4:15 pm for family portraits preceding the wedding ceremony. We will take photos & capture some footage at Jackson Square Park with both sides of the family before we are officially tied in matrimony. We will meet near the Chartres St. entrance (directly in front of the church), at the fountain. We recommend arriving by taxi or rideshare to avoid crowded and expensive parking lots.
WEDDING CEREMONY

Our wedding ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm by the fountain in the park, officiated by close family friend, Kevin Mullaney. We will immediately follow it with a second line through the French Quarter with a brass band and the Nola spirit.
AFTER THE CEREMONY

The second line will bring us to The Will & The Way where you’ll be welcomed with a cocktail and appetizers. After Anja and Michael slip away for additional photos, we are excited to do our first dance as husband and wife, and see Michael & Eileen perform a special mother-son dance. Sanja & John will give a toast and anyone else who wants to say a few words is welcome to, before we take everyone to dinner.

We’ll enjoy a family style meal in the French Quarter. Group transportation will be provided from the cocktail reception to dinner.

Come join us in the Marigny where the best of jazz convenes. The many venues on Frenchman St. will serve as our afterparty as we dance, sing & enjoy each other’s company. This is located directly by the restaurant, so transportation is not needed. Not to be missed!!!
